The Decider
Rulebook's silent on this one? Let something else make the call.
How it works
Type what's being argued about into the box at the top (optional — it just labels the entry in your Ruling History), then either pick one of the six methods below yourself, or tap Let It Choose to have the app pick the method and the outcome. Whatever it lands on is final.
Let It Choose
Can't even agree on how to decide? This spins through all six methods, lands on one, and runs it immediately using whatever names or options are already filled in on that method's panel.
Coin Flip
The "Heads means" / "Tails means" fields are your key — edit them to label the two sides of your call, or leave the auto-picked pair (a fresh random pair loads each time you open this tab or hit reset). Tap New pair to roll a different default pair without flipping. Tap Flip Coin for a true 50/50.
Deciding between two people instead of two labels? Tap Auto-assign 2 players to randomly pull two names from your roster straight into the fields.
Dice Duel
Everyone in your roster rolls — each person gets a d6, highest roll wins the call. Ties automatically reroll just the tied players. Manage your roster in Player Names — if it's empty, you'll be sent there first.
Random Pick
List out the interpretations on the table (two or more) and spin. It flickers through the options and lands on one. This is a free-typed list, not tied to your player roster.
Pick a Judge
Everyone in your roster is eligible — it randomly crowns one person as judge. Their ruling is final — no appeals.
Magic 8-Ball
Type your yes/no rules question (optional) and shake — tap the button or the ball itself. Unlike a real Magic 8-Ball, it never dodges: every answer is a firm yes or a firm no.
Tap Edit Messages to write your own set of rulings, one per line, with Export/Import to back them up or share between devices Pro (free during beta).
RPS Showdown
Everyone in your roster enters. Exactly 2 players runs a single best-of-3 match; 3+ runs a full knockout tournament — same engine either way, ending with a round-by-round bracket recap and a crowned winner.
Each match is a synced "Rock… Paper… Scissors… SHOOT!" countdown with sound — no arguing about who threw late. A tied throw automatically replays just that round; first to win two rounds takes the match. Watch every throw live in the play-by-play feed as the match unfolds.
Light Saber and Wizard are real alternate rulesets, not just reskins. Light Saber is a 3-way Attack/Focus/Block duel (Attack beats Focus, Focus beats Block, Block beats Attack — based on the official Star Wars Lightsaber Academy toy). Wizard is a 5-way Rock/Paper/Scissors/Wizard/Croc cycle where each throw beats two others and loses to two (based on the card game Rock Paper Scissors Wizard Croc). Tap a mode to turn it on, tap it again (or the other mode) to switch back to classic rock-paper-scissors — a rule reminder appears on screen while a mode is active.
Ruling History
Every decision from all six methods is logged below the tools with a timestamp, plus whatever you typed into the dispute box. Tap Clear all to wipe it.
Sound
Tap Sound on / off near the bottom to toggle the roll ticks, chimes, and countdown beeps. Your preference is remembered on this device.
