Player Names
Add your group once — every other tool picks from this list.
How it works
Player Names is the one place you manage who's in your regular game group. Add a name, give it a color, and it becomes available everywhere else that needs players — no retyping your group in every tool.
Managing your roster
- Add — type a name and tap Add (or press Enter).
- Rename — tap a player's name to edit it in place. Press Enter or tap away to save.
- Recolor — tap the color dot to open the swatch picker.
- Reorder — use the up/down arrows on each row.
- Remove — tap the × on a row. This only removes them from your saved roster — it doesn't touch scores or games already in progress elsewhere.
Using it from another tool
If you open a tool that needs players before you've added any here, it'll bring you straight to this page. Add your group, then tap Continue to go back and pick up where you left off. Most tools let you check off which subset of your roster is playing that round; a few (Whose Turn? and Turn Timer) always use your whole roster, so remove someone here if they're sitting out.
Export / Import
Tap Export to save your roster as a file — you'll get to confirm or edit the filename before it saves. Tap Import to load a file exported from any other Board Game Tools app. Importing replaces your current roster.
