Whose Turn?

Keep track of turn order so everyone always knows who's up next.

How to use

  1. Add each player's name. Drag or use the arrows to arrange them in turn order.
  2. Tap the star ★ next to any player to mark them as the first player for the round.
  3. Tap Start to begin. The current player is highlighted.
  4. Tap Next Turn (or the highlighted player's name) to advance to the next player.
  5. Use the optional turn timer to keep things moving — set it before starting.
  6. Players can be eliminated or marked as passed mid-game without removing them from the list.
Pass the device around the table so each player can tap when their turn is done, or keep it in the center and have one person advance it.

Saving & loading players

The Export button saves your player list — names and colors — as a small file. Use Import to load it back next game so you don't have to re-enter everyone.

What is a JSON file? JSON is just a text format that apps use to save structured data. You don't need to understand the format — just save the file when prompted and load it back when you want to restore your group. The file will be named turn-players.json.

Your player list is automatically saved to this device between sessions. Closing the app won't lose your setup.

Add to home screen

Install the app on your home screen so it opens full-screen, with no browser chrome — perfect for keeping at the center of the table.

iOS · Safari

  1. Open the app in Safari (must be Safari, not Chrome or Firefox).
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add to confirm.

Android · Chrome

  1. Open the app in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen or Install App.
  4. Tap Add to confirm.
Once installed, the app updates automatically — no need to reinstall when changes are made.
